((This is a forum about a new club at Hogwarts, the Wandless Magic Club. It is a lot harder than traditional wand magic because the wand acts as an instrument through which magic is specifically channeled, while wandless magic, can sometimes be spontaneous and dangerous. Many people in the wizarding world practice wandless magic as a hobby))

Owen Jackson, a third year student, walked through the halls and into classroom 13M, a deserted classroom that hadn't been used for at least thirty years. Fortunately, he had found the time to spruce it up last week. He pulled up a chair and waited for people to show up. Had his posters been enough to attract a few people for his club?

Matilda had seen the posters. She couldn't use wand magic, so she thought maybe...just maybe...she could use Wandless Magic. She entered the classroom and saw Owen.

"Am I late?" She asked.

"No, no," said Owen, shaking his head and gesturing around. "You're the first one here." Owen waited, for more to come, anticipating an exciting room full of people being taught by him, learning his hobby.

"Since I was nine," said the third year boy. "When I first started learning my magic. My parents wouldn't buy me a wand, so I just started learning how to handle and harness my magic, and it worked. I'll explain more about how it works when everyone gets here. I think I had a couple of people sign up," he finished. He looked around, waiting for a sign of others. "We might have to start without them, if they aren't here in five minutes."

Suddenly, a first year with her clothes in a wreck and her glasses crooked on her nose accidentally pushed in jasmine.

Ohh, sorry~! Jean says in a sheepish tone. Those bullies were running after me and this was the first room that was open.

Jean looks around and sees a girl on the floor, and two people talking mid-sentence.

Jean helps jasmine up and brushes her with her hands to gett off the settled dust on her robes.

Jean says in an arrogant super irritating kind of first year way.

"So, what club is this? Wandless magic? But then arent you supposed to do magic with wands? I mean, that wouldnt BE magic if there werent any wands."
Jean then laughs at all of them since she thinks she's so right and all of them are just too dumb.

(now we know why this girl is chased by bullies)

Owen looked about and said, "Hi, everyone. This is the wandless magic club. As I was just telling Matilda here," Owen pointed towards the shy fifth, still sitting at the table. "we shall be learning the art of magic in a completely uncoordinated unaided way. We shall be using magic with wands." Owen gestured for everyone to take a seat at the table. He then waved his hand in snap-like flourish and a book came soaring over to him from the bookshelf at the other end of the room." The third year boy looked around timidly. "To answer Jean's earlier question, magic does not come from the wand. Magic is flowing from your veins at this very moment, although many of you are not aware of it." Owen opened the book and started to read his speech to the others, "A wand is a tool, merely a tool through which we harness magic. However, you could harness magic through anything from a teakettle to a flowery pink umbrella." The boy smiled, knowingly, out the window, down at Hagrid's hut. "Wand magic is very timed, practiced, and precise, where unaided wandless magic can be very unexpected to the unpracticed hands. Small children find magic in this way, yet they have no wand. This year we shall be exploring, and mastering, the art of wandless magic. Do you all still wish to join?" asked Owen. "Wandless magic can be both dangerous and temporamental."
