I know you can purchase a fan that is placed under the laptop. I believe it blows out the sides while keeping your lap cool. Any kind of Fan ad on's will greatly help. _________________ Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

If they did you should have it repaired A.S.A.P. I remember my fan stopped working and it would just shut down after being on for 10 minutes. I manually opened up my p.c. and fixed it. _________________ Peace is a lie. There is only passion.

My hp's fan died also. But i beat the crap out of the laptop lol so its really my fault. So what i did was got a fan speed software and run the other fan twice as much. _________________ Photography is my passion.

I've got a special fan thing that my laptop like sits on to stop it getting hot, cos mine does quite alot.
Mine was like £20 from PC World, so things like that help? _________________

I used to sit on my bed and use the laptop, I didn't realise the fabric makes it overheat. _________________

Laptops often only overheat if left plugged into the charger whilse the plug socket switch is still on. The only other case is if you use a full powered program on you computer running. The solution really is to turn your laptop of when you are finished with the laptop. Then you just have to turn it on next time you use it. Hope this helped. _________________
