A new professionally-created Harry Potter font is now available for magic and non-magic folk alike.
Type artist David Occhino has released a new font called "Hocus Pocus," based on the "Harry Potter" lettering from the motion pictures. This professional-grade typeface is based on the lettering designs from the wildly popular fantasy books by J.K. Rowling and the motion picture series. Hocus Pocus comes in several font styles that offer creative flexibility in your projects. Alternate capital and lowercase capital letters, integrated lightning bolts, sharp edges, twisted curves and unpredicable baselines work together to create a tone of mischief and magic.
The font is available at the David Occhino Design website at http://davidocchino.com/portfolio/typography/hocus-pocus.html and costs $20 (US). A comparison to other fonts of this style as well as a tutorial are available on the page as well. |
